Privacy policy

Effective date: [MONTH DAY], 2026 · Applies to all apps and games published by Idealist Media and to idealistmedia.net.

The short version: we collect the minimum an app needs to work, we don't sell personal data — not even anonymized — and we don't show third-party behavioral advertising. Some of our games offer online accounts and leaderboards; this policy explains exactly what that involves.

Apps without accounts

Unless an app's listing and the per-app section below say otherwise:

  • No signup. The app doesn't ask for your name or email.
  • Local data stays local. Progress, settings, and content you create are stored on your device (and in your personal iCloud or Google backup if your device does that).
  • Purchases. In-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google; we receive confirmation a purchase occurred, never your payment details.

Apps with accounts and leaderboards

Some of our games (listed below) offer an account so your progress can sync and your scores can appear on leaderboards. For those apps we collect:

  • Account details. Your email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash)[, or a sign-in token if you use Sign in with Apple or Google]. We use your email to secure the account, for password resets, and for essential service messages — not for marketing unless you opt in.
  • Display name. A name you choose. Pick anything you like — it doesn't have to identify you.
  • Gameplay data. Scores, streaks, and game statistics tied to your account.

What's public: your display name and scores appear on leaderboards visible to other players. Your email address is never shown to anyone.

Account data is stored with our database provider, [Supabase], in the United States, encrypted in transit. We may remove display names that are offensive or impersonate others.

What we never do

  • We never sell personal data — not even anonymized.
  • We don't use third-party behavioral advertising or cross-app tracking.
  • We don't buy data about you from anyone.

Diagnostics

Children

Our apps are designed for general audiences, and you must be at least 13 to create an account. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has created an account, email us and we'll delete it.

Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account inside any app that offers one ([Settings → Account → Delete account]), or request deletion from our account deletion page without the app installed. Deletion removes your account details and personal data within 30 days; leaderboard entries are removed or anonymized. Deleting an app from your device removes its local data.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — including under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA — by emailing support@idealistmedia.net. We respond to every request.
